Horseshoes and Chocolate

Today, this afternoon, Kelli stopped by -and LOOK what she brought by!!! A sample of her gift set of "The Chocolate Cowgirl".  It looks yummy-chocolate horseshoes, truffles and more-I can't wait to eat it. Alright enough of that- I've decide I guess half the fun of making those cork horses- is drinking the wine with friends. 

       The farrier came today and put shoes on the horses. So they will be going to the bay area also. Marla will stay up here, with a friend, for a while.

     I am excited to go to the Bay Area and visit friends and family. I dread the packing cuz its xmas and I must drag the presents and pack my whole office so I can continue working!!

I will also be babysitting those adorable twins!

I will have my neighbor feed the goats-They also like the Gourmet mash!

These two are like Mutt and Jeff- but its Vigo and Thunder- two nubians.

This is Tyson, as you can see he's different-he's a Toggenburg.

So my friends I believe the count down to xmas is on.

I will pack tomorrow to leave by Thursday morning so I can make Domo's first xmas play!

Xmas Ponies and more

I've always had so much fun making these little ponies. I took 30 of them to the Loomis Tack sale- sold 10. There weren't too many people there-so all was good. I love to give them away cuz everyone says they are "cute" and people smile when they see them and the kids love them. I often attach them to xmas presents too.

I have a friend who sells Gourmet Bran mashes. We sold those along with the ornaments.  Horses just love the peppermint pieces along with their warm goodies! They are carried at Coo Feed, Echo Valley and others! You can order some for you and your friends! She's in Cool! And my other friend Kelly is selling homemade chocolate! for people of course! this is a test of blah blah blah- very gray out- actually- it was a test to send a blog direct from email-mmm very slick !

I guess winter is coming fast and cold. I finally left the property today, Thursday, after being cooped up since Sunday afternoon. I could not believe , in Lotus, all the Scrub Oak trees with broken limbs! Looked like the Terminator went through. No wonder El Dorado county has power problems! the snow was so deep and heavy!
Poor Scrub Oaks said " we do dusting,NOT heavy snowfall!"






Today, it warmed up some and the thermometer did not say 0 -actually warmed up to about 45 degrees,
I know it is worse in other areas, I try to be thankful- it could be worse.

My new mantra- It could be worse.
I would like to blog more and wonder who would read it - or care. I use to keep a journal. Writing is creative- so sometimes it just doesn't flow.
Or it could be cathartic (def: any cleansing or release, as of pent up emotions-per Webster)
Or sometimes it could be random thoughts.

So perhaps I will actually start writing random thoughts or words of wisdom. Sometimes the thoughts roll around in my head and I feel I need to share or tell someone. Maybe its because I live alone and don't "chat" with others??
